Artory started the way most good ideas do — with a kid who didn't want to go to sleep.

I'm Rashad Haque. Like most parents, I read bedtime stories to my kids every night. And like most parents, I eventually ran out of books that held their attention. They didn't want another story about someone else's adventure — they wanted to be in the adventure. They wanted to see their name on the page, explore their favorite things, and feel like the story was made just for them.

So I built it. At MIT, I started working on an AI that could write a completely original story for any child — with their name, their interests, and beautiful illustrations on every page. Not a template with a name swapped in. A real, unique story. Every single time.

That's Artory. A bedtime story that's actually about your kid.

You tell us your child's name, age, and what they love. In about 60 seconds, our AI creates an 8–12 page illustrated story where your child is the main character. Dinosaur adventures, space missions, fairy tales, bedtime wind-downs — whatever sparks their imagination.

Every story is different. Every illustration is original. You can read it together on any device, share it with grandparents through a beautiful link, or even print it as a hardcover book they can hold.

Most “personalized” children's books just swap in a name. The story is the same for every kid. Artory is different. Every narrative is generated from scratch — the plot, the dialogue, the lessons, the illustrations. No two stories are alike.

The AI also tailors the vocabulary and complexity to your child's age group (0–1, 2–3, 4–5, 6–7), so a story for a toddler feels completely different from one for a first grader. It's not one-size-fits-all. It's built for your child.
